I love to set up my easel and paint in the fresh air. There is a sense of immediacy to it. I am forced to be fully present and in the moment. Painting is my form of meditation. This body of work spans over many years of plein air painting.
Hueblein Tower -View from Nod Road - 2023
I painted this commissioned piece in the fall of 2022 for a friend, Shashi Jori. It was my medicine to go outside and paint in the afternoon to capture the right light. I encountered many wonderful people as they honked and gave support as they drove by. Art brings people together. The beauty of our world heals.

Collaged Landscapes

Current technology has made paper maps feel antiquated and cumbersome. Like an encyclopedia, a paper map is no longer needed. For me every map tells a story and guides me.
