I studied black and white photography at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico - This body of work came from my time in the desert and spilled over to my life back in New England.

I had my sister, Dawn Kazokas as my model for this particular series taken in Northfield, MA in late summer of 2004. I printed them on warm fiber paper to give them a soft aged look, and soaked many of them in Red Rose tea.
